Our vision
We are a not-for-profit education company offering alternative training through professional producing experiences.

Our Mission
We provide a gateway to conservatoire training for all and any performers who would struggle to access it (drama schools) otherwise.
Following a L4 inspired programme of study via a producing repertory theatre company model at minimal cost to the learner.
We create innovative and challenging work for audiences aged 14+ to support their educational studies through inspiring productions and wider exposure to theatre and drama styles.

Our values
theRTproject is guided by six core beliefs. These values underpin the way we work to deliver our vision. These qualities outline the character of the company for creatives, performers with whom we work, and our audiences.

Our reasoning
"124 billon goes to UK's GDP because of creative industries but accessing the talent is where the problem lies" Paul Roseby - Artistic Director of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
There has been a 48 % decline in A Level Drama entries since 2010, GCSC drama entries have halved in the last 15 years and there is a decline in specialist drama teachers in school.
The think tank 'The Sutton Trust' recently calculated that BAFTA nominated actors were 5 times more likely to come from private school.
There is a massive decline in working class talent wanting to take part. We need to change that.
